Today, I did a photo shoot with a friend and her little guy for his 1-year pictures. It was too fun. I learned things as I went, and having taken 150 pictures, I’m sure we’ll get 3-4 good ones. (Just for a reference point, the one time we did a professional place, they took 40 pictures total…just sayin’). So anyway, that is definitely something I’d love to do more often…it was a blast!
Also, the babies slept marvelously last night and are taking a good long nap right now. Definitely qualifies as “fun” in my book!
I had weird dreams last night. I’m not sure that qualifies as fun, well, I told you this post would be random.
We had a great time with the MIL yesterday. And there is still a tentative plan that my mom will come up to hang with us tomorrow. I could totally get used to this having help regularly thing! Any of you want to volunteer?

you did a photo shoot today already? wow! i always, after the professionals take their 25-40 pictures, want to ask if i can just have the room and the camera and do my thing. 🙂

I really wanted to :like: your note about the babies sleeping well – and then I remembered I’m not on facebook!
What a fun few days! Do you think you could work out a schedule with your moms/friends to get together regularly, so you had a “help-day” once a week? I can imagine that would be a really fun, refreshing day each week!

i agree with jess. that’s why ive stopped going to those “professional” type places.
