My twins are 9 today.
Alex is creative and logical and wants to be a firefighter and a video game designer on his days off. He has an awesome sense of humor; he gets why puns are funny. He still loves his scruffy puppy, and his best friend is Dalton. He’s a pretty awesome little man.
Erin is careful and smart. She is bright and generous and naturally good at being friends. She is so kind. She loves to be helpful and reads everything she gets her hands on. She wants a giant stuffed pegasus with rainbow wings for her birthday, and she is thrilled that Rachel is coming for a birthday playdate today.
These two. They were the start of my parenting journey. They’ve been the best of friends from Day 1, and their kind, funny, clever contributions to our family are beyond special.
