Something on Sunday

I don’t actually have anything to say today. I suppose that’s okay…it’s hard to write every single day. But here’s the recap of our regular Sunday:

  • Church was good this morning. Every so often, we do what Pastor Geoff calls a “multi-voice” service where people share what they’ve got to share. Today Geoff shared a bit about VBS, Roxie talked about how God’s been moving her towards more active service, and Jen shared about a prison Bible study ministry that she’s been involved with for years. It was just a good service.
  • I read a book today. I like reading. A lot.
  • My kids are totally obsessed with the new Skylanders games they’ve gotten recently. I need to put a stricter limit on their play time, but I guess a weekend of screens won’t hurt them.
  • Eric heard recently that most kids get an average of 5 hours of outside play a week. I was shocked … and not shocked … all at the same time.
  • I washed the living room floor today and made a list of things I need to clean before the wedding next month. It’s a LONG list.
  • While Eric and the big 3 were at 4H tonight, I made two different things for supper. And I still heard “But I don’t want either of those things” from at least one kid when they got home. *eye roll*
  • I picked our green beans the other day. I got about 50 total beans. And may not get any more, which is not cool. But I cut them up and Eric and I enjoyed those beans for supper tonight. Yum.

And that’s about all I’ve got. Happy Sunday!
