Yesterday, Eric came home about 1:30, and we went to get new tires for his Jeep which took most of the rest of the afternoon.  When we got back, I made supper (meatloaf and green bean casserole) before going to the girls’ bible study we’re doing this summer.  It was a very good discussion, I thought.  Then I came home so Eric could get to bed.

This morning, Eric got up at 4:30 to catch his 7 am flight to Alabama.  He’ll be gone until 8:30 this evening or so.  He and 3 guys from work are all flying down and back today to spend about 4 hours at the company they’re visiting.  It’s going to be a long day for him!

I did wake up when he got up, but dozed back off until he kissed me goodbye.  Then I fell asleep again until 7:15 when I got up.  Today I might be hanging out with some friends, I really could stand to go get a few groceries, and Karen might stop over to pick up some stuff they left here on the weekend.  I also do need to work on some house cleaning and laundry.  But it doesn’t all have to be done today!

I don’t think I would like flying there/back in one day. That would be a very long day!

Can Eric not go to bed without you there?

I was wondering the same thing as Michelle!  (Not as Karen, since I don’t really know your friends.)

Spread out the work – I’m taking an easy day, so you can, too!

I also figured that she didn’t own too many dresses because there isn’t much of a long hanging space for longer clothes, or even dress suits for that matter.  Thankfully, most of my long dresses are short comparatively to others, to they work witihout getting wrinkled.
