It’s Friday. Apparently, it’s going to be ‘one of those days’
because this morning, I made Eric’s coffee without coffee
grounds. Yep…just ran water through an empty filter. I
guess that’s one amusing way to start the day!
I’m glad it’s Friday, but I’m not sure what the weekend is going to
look like. I was hoping to get together with the fam (I haven’t
seen my neices in over a month!), but I don’t think that’s going to
happen after all. Eric got invited to a housewarming party for a
coworker, but we probably won’t go to that…we did go to her last
get-together. It was a very odd mix of people! So maybe
we’ll go on a date tonight or something. And I should do laundry
on Saturday. And of course the Super Bowl on Sunday (and church!).
Classes today won’t be too exciting. Both Comp classes are doing
presentations, so I don’t have to “teach” (I just pray they don’t do a
horrible job!). Basic English is about the 4 types of sentences
today, and that’s a pretty easy one to cover. So it shouldn’t be
too bad. Of course, I have a rather large (and growing) stack of
papers to grade…still haven’t gotten that done!

Do you always make Eric’s coffee? Do you drink coffee?
Sounds like you have plenty of options for things to do this weekend. It would be nice to go on a date with your husband. I’m surprised you don’t see your nieces more often. Especially with you only being an hour away and driving to Cedarville all the time for work. It’s hard to fit it in though, I’m sure.

Let’s trade – I’ll grade papers (assuming they’re papers with definite answers – I can’t do essays) and you organize my house!

Normally car registrations do expire on your birthday; however, in Clermont County, they told me there was NO WAY they could switch it to expire then. I bought my car in January, got the registration in February, so it always has to be then. I tried to explain to them that every other person in the state has it expire on their birthday, but they acted like they had never heard of that before! I’m hoping Greene County will be a little more up on that!

It is sad not to be able to see your nieces, huh?
LOL on the coffee — I’ve done that before!

No…I don’t drink coffee. But I get up first, so I make the coffee and throw together a lunch for him. Then I exercise while he showers. Then I shower. It sort of works.
I know it’s crazy that we don’t see the girls more regularly. But I must say, Chris & Deb have a way too active social life so that makes it hard to schedule things. And on the weekends they are open, one of us Columbus people has plans. And also it’s hard to work around the daily schedule with naps and things. I guess I’m just going to have to get more creative!
