So I didn’t get anything else written yesterday…but I did get some
prep for classes done which was probably more useful, though certainly
less fun than another Xanga entry!

This morning I’m back to laundry as well as rearranging my kitchen
cupboards to fit in some of the things I got for Christmas.  I
don’t really have much room to store the type of things that you don’t
use often but need to have so that they’re available when you need
them.  I’m used to my mom’s whole room for laundry and extra
storage…though she would probably say that she could use more
storage, too, if you asked her…I think it’s a girl thing!

I’m also watching The Rescuers on one of the Disney channels this
morning while I work.  I always liked that one, so I’m listening
to it while I write.  Oh…and I also think I’m going to do that
shoe shopping today…I’ll let you know if I find anything fun!

Eric and I had ministry at church last night…he had orchestra
rehearsal and I had drama.  We worked on characterization in
drama.  We certainly have some good fun during our
rehearsals!  I also now have some great improv games that would
work well for parties and other such gatherings…they are highly
entertaining!

Can you believe when we were showing Kyle’s brother (Andy) and his wife (Jeri) our new house that Jeri said she didn’t think we’d need any more cabinet space than is in there now?!  First of all, we will DEFINITELY need more storage space as well as countertop, and second, what woman thinks that way?!  That’s crazy!  Even when I opened the oven and showed that Rhonda, who lives there now, stores about as many pans as she can fit inside of it, she thought there was enough space!  I’m seriously wondering about her…

Hmmm…storing pans in the oven is definitely NOT a good sign…you may need to keep an eye on her…:0)

I DEFINITELY need more storage space, but I’m in a small apartment, so what can I expect? I can’t wait to move to somewhere bigger…but that does mean more to clean and organize, huh?

Glad you got some work done yesterday — I guess that’s important!

    Good luck shoe shopping!

Or more to NOT clean and organize…whichever you prefer! And of course, I’ve discovered that when you upgrade, you always add more stuff in an amount that is directly proportional to the amount of space you’re gaining…so you really won’t have any more room.

Maybe we could use one of your improv games next year for Christmas!!

I think The Rescuers is meant for a little younger audience. There was even some top nudity in the movie we were watching (it did not say that on the cover). Plus I don’t pay very close attention even when I’m not tending to a baby so when a movie jumps around, it tends to throw me off. Glad you enjoyed your movie though!

I think they should definitely do a VeggieTales song about that!  Maybe you could write it and you and Karen could sing it to us next Christmas!  (By the way, speaking of next Christmas, who will be pregnant then?  We’ve kind of been going on an every nine-month schedule here, and I think Michelle and Julie want you and Karen to start chipping in next – they’re on break.)

Yeah…Deb’s been making comments for a long time about “when Kelly’s going to have some cousins” and such as that. We just roll our eyes…after all, they waited 5 years before they had Kelly. I mean, is it our fault it took us that entire time to find husbands?
